Eva Green (Miss Peregrine Home of Peculiar Children, Dark Shadows) is a cast member in the popular Netflix show as a series regular, portraying the problematic member of the Addams family who is viewed through the rear window at the very end of the Season 2 finale.
The star casting is the first significant addition to the immediately following third season of Wednesday, which was greenlighted this summer before the Season 2 premiere. It also puts to rest the guesswork about the mysterious identity, with the fan theories that Lady Gaga is playing Rosalyn Rottwood, possibly being Ophelia Frump.
The raven-like niece of hers, Wednesday (Jenna Ortega), had stretched her psychic power to its utmost and further. She was taken to Willow Hill Psychiatrist Hospital by her and Morticia (Catherine Zeta-Jones), her mother, Hester Frump (Joanna Lumley), and then made her escape. The footprints of Ophelia were thought to have been lost, until Wednesday, when she reads the journal of her aunt that Morticia gave her as an expression of trust at the finale of the second season, and sees a vision of a woman with long blond hair and a crown of flowers.
A few seconds later, Hester is shown walking towards the basement of her mansion, where Ophelia is imprisoned in a cell. She is still viewed only from the back side, which reveals she has a red dress and is writing on the wall Wednesday must die, using her own blood.
Ophelia is known to have long blonde hair as opposed to her sister Morticus, who has a gothic appearance. In the 1960s Addams Family series, both sisters were played by Carolyn Jones, with a blonde wig on Ophelia.
Adapted by the characters of Charles Addams, Wednesday is a detective, paranoid murder mystery following the years of Wednesday Addams in Nevermore Academy as a student.
Ortega (Wednesday Addams), Emma Myers (Enid Sinclair), Hunter Doohan (Tyler Galpin), Joy Sunday (Bianca Barclay), Moosa Mostafa (Eugene Ottinger), Georgie Farmer (Ajax Petropolus), Issac Ordonez (Pugsley Addams), Billie Piper (Isadora Capri), Luyanda Unati Lewis-Nyawo (Sheriff Ritchie Santiago), Victor Dorobantu (Thing), Evie Templeton (Agnes DeMille), are the cast members.
Premiered in two volumes in August and September, Wednesday Season 2 was the most-watched English-language show of all time on Netflix, with season 1 in the number 1 spot.

It is a comeback of the Gere series by Green since she was the star of the Showtime horror drama Penny Dreadful, which earned her a Golden Globe nomination. Her future films involve The Trees, Blood on Snow and Just Play Dead. UTA and Charles Colliery of Chalco5 Square are the representatives of green.
